Hi Guys,

#Hope someone can help, my laptop screen seems to have a problem.

At first it seemed like there was not enough power as the screen was intermittently dimming then the screen shows tweo lots of information on the one screen, but its not very eligible.

I can run the computer in safe mode with still two lots of information on it.

My question is , is this problem just with the screen or something more? , if it is a problem with the screen, can they be installed quite easily or do i need to get a pro to do it??

Thanks guys

Is there a shortcut on the keyboard to to adjust the brightness?

Is it still within 12months of purchase? (Retailer has duty to fix it if it is)

Laptop LCD's can be replaced but it is quite fidgety and you;d need a small screwdriver set and know what you are doing.

Depending on the circumstance you might be better off buying a 3rd party warranty/insurance, tolerating the fault during the qualifying period then claiming.

Dell have been fantastic for us and family, on site repair etc.

I just realised it could be you just need the right drivers for the onboard/separate graphics card which should be on the asus site

Plug it into an external monitor to see if you see the same double information. May be your graphics card if you see the same.
