Hi ppl, just looking for any kind of feedback for Aviva car insurance? They are offering £100 less than my current provider and wanted to get an idea what kind of service they provide. Thanks.

:thumbsup:No probs here, new name for Norwich Union.
Mrs FJ had a bump few days before xmas break. Nationwide (not B Society/bank) are their repairers, they stored car over xmas, supplied a 09 courtesy car, kept us informed re. repair status etc.

BTW we went via Topcashback and Swinton saving about £100 on our Aviva/NU renewal.

I think you have to be a Plymouth Argyle fan to get the best deal, just what I saw on the TV ad:)

They were a good deal cheaper for me too. I've had to call them three times since switching, the first time they were having serious computer problems and couldn't help me, the second time, ALL DAY, I was on hold for 45 minutes at a time queueing, only to be cut off as I hit 45 mins. This happend 5 times throughout the day. The next day I got on the phone right as they opened and got straight through to a person. He did what I needed, was very apologetic, explained that it was NOT normal behaviour, and did the changes I needed him to do for free, rather than charging me the £18 fee. (Which I could have done on the internet for free if their system hadn't failed and locked me out!)

I always go with the cheapest I'm afraid, I've never had what I'd call cracking service when I've had to make a claim, so get the cheapest and hope for the best - move on next year if you hate them by then!
