Avoid paying EBAY fees as Turbo Lister on Free Listing Day is NOT Free!!

It is disgraceful that Ebay states "All items listed with professional tools, such as "Turbo Lister", Bulk relisting tool and "Sales Manager Pro" are excluded from this promotion."

So if you like me use Turbo Lister ,which is Ebay's own downloadable tool to assist in Bulk Loading of items, then you will be charged to list Auction-Style items for the whole of today Sunday 17th January.

The way to avoid paying fees is to create a bulk number of blank 10-day Ebay auction listings e.g. 100 identical listings, with a price say £100.

The total for these 100 listings will be zero however you will of course pay final auction fees and paypal fees.

During the next 10days, if you use Turbo Lister or another tool you can edit these 100 listings, edit the title, edit the description, add photos and even reduce the starting price. There will be no additional cost for this.

I fel this is a disgraceful additional clause Ebay have added in to their Terms & Conditions but this is one way to save sellers some up front listing fees which they may have assumed were free.

It's all a marketing con anyway. Listing fees account for about 1% of the total fees.

well if you listed 100 items at £100. Each item would be £1.30 thus £130 worth of fees which to an unsuspecting seller should have been free on a FREE LISTING day, unless you used a Turbo Lister type tool.
