"If you choose this gift we'll send you an Argos gift voucher to exchange for the gift you have chosen. When you receive the voucher, just take it in to one of the 500 Argos stores throughout the UK."

Just signed up my dad to get the free tv then going to cancel.

I have picked to get the free TV, its the £99.99 bush on from argos according to the photo.

Do they just send me a £100 argos gift voucher? Does anyone know how it works?

Yes up to 28 days after your 1st direct debit has been taken. Then you can cancel it.

Be warned, they aren't that dim lol

Can I cancel the Plan?

You have 30 days from the day you receive your policy documents during which you can cancel your Plan and have any premiums paid refunded in full.
After that, you can cancel your Plan at any time by notifying us in writing. Remember, if you do cancel, your life cover will end and you wouldn’t get anything back. As long as you continue to pay your monthly premiums, your Plan cannot be cancelled by us for any reason.

They will wait to see if you cancel before sending the free gift ;-)

They send the gift after the first month is up and the payment taken so its not entirely free, worst case scenario is you end up paying 2 months payments at a total of £12 but you can still cancel anyway just don't get any refund

After the initial 30 days you may cancel your Plan at any time by notifying us in writing. But remember, if you do cancel your life cover will stop and you'll get nothing back. As long as you continue to pay your monthly premiums, your Plan cannot be cancelled by us for any reason.

So a maximum of £12 for a LCD TV is not too bad!

Yes, i will either end up paying £6 or £12 for a lcd tv.

Either cancel after the 1st month or i might be caught up and have to pay the 2nd month too. Still not too bad.

so in effect, they lose out and put up premiums for other elderly people

there surely has to be a flaw in your plan :whistling:

I dont think there is any flaws. I see the only flaw is that people actually take out these plans.
