they have offered me it for £45?

Be cheeky and ring them back and offer £40.

Probably get springs on ebay if you wanted new ones.

Did you manage to get everything?

Make sure your new one has the same amount of springs (and the same size) as your old one. Otherwise it will either sag or be impossible to put together.

I got one too, the kids will be over the moon. (couldn't find a cover though)

£45 thats pathetic its worthless without springs

id be selling it for around £10

how much are the springs?
really they should at least be knocking of the cost of new springs and a bit more for the inconvenience

yeh think i will pop and and say i have priced new springs + del ect and see what he says as he was supposed to speak to me on the phone!

Springs are probably going to cost more than the trampoline from what I can see.

At the end of the day though you are getting a replacement mat and frame for your exisiting one (if compatible) for £45 which is good. Your trampoline is useless without it and you are unlikely to find a better deal really.

Springs cost about £1 ish each and a 12 foot trampoline will need at least 72 (from memory), if you look online at sites selling springs they will tell you how to measure and see if the ones from your old trampoline will fit or not. Personally i wouldnt pay £45 for a trampoline with no springs. :)

yeh i have decided that i,m not going to pay £45 so will see what they say when i go in :)

A trampoline with no springs is like a car without an engine.

i already have a 12ft one and could use the springs from that :)

If it going to get your current one up and running again it is probably still going to be your cheapest option to do so.

current one is still in use just has a small hole which is covered but it does need replacing eventually

Why not just ask them to stop messing you about and provide the goods you ordered and not something you'd expect to find from some dodgy dealer at a car boot sale?

she said they cannot find the springs they are not in the box seemingly i thought as usual they were phoning to say it was no longer available!

Ordered mine form 3 different stores, first phones to say they have no ladders left :(, second one phones to say my trampoline and enclosure has been picked and is ready, woohoo.

Yes I read that bit, but I'm fairly sure B&Q is quite a large chain of shops with more than one store. I'm suggesting you tell her to find one for you from elsewhere (either depot or another store.)

It sounds very shoddy to expect someone to buy something thats useless for a few pence less. Have you spoken to their head office? Just tell them if they dont provide the goods, you'll be forced to buy them elsewhere and expect them to pay the difference (through the courts in necesarily.) I'm not suggesting you do that BTW - just telll them it would be your intentions. You've nothing to lose.

Paisley B&Q had a box of springs for a 12ft trampoline for £3 today! As you walk in the main door - turn left........then right over in the corner is all the trampoline stuff and there was 4 boxes of them with the reduced ticket saying £3.
