Baby Alive - is it worth getting?

My 6 year old daughter wants Baby Alive from Santa. She specifically wants it because it poos! I've been looking around and the fanciest one seems to be £59.99 but is quite small. There are other ones that are bigger at about £40 and newborn ones at about £20. I don't know if they all do the same thing. Has anyone out there got one, is it worth getting, what's the difference, do they all poo???
Are there any alternatives? (we already have Baby Annabel, Chou-Chou, Tiny Tears)
It makes me feel ill buying a doll costing £60 - especially if it's rubbish.
Thanks in anticipation of your help.

We got Baby Born for my daughter when she was younger, it was supposed to poo too but it was rubbish. It was soon renamed baby boring, and lived in the bottom of the wardrobe. Annabel was renamed Baby Jane and was one of the favourites.

My daughter got one last year and played with it for about a week. To make it worse I had to order it from the states as they were out of stock everywhere here

I think I'll just wait until nearer Xmas. She'll probably see something more amazing before then anyway!
It'll probably come right down in price on Amazon anyway.
Thanks folks.

My daughter got one, she used it for a week after xmas, spent money on new clothes and food. It now lives in the attic, along with her barbies, ice skates and drum kit
