Oh yes of course if she is now sorry.....

Throw away the key I say, if someone can stand back and watch that being done to thier own flesh in blood then they deserve to rot in hell IMO
#2
Aww always makes me feel sad for baby P whenever it's mentioned.
#4
Yes. As per new government justice rules, when she said sorry she reaaaaally meant it, so it's fine now.
#5
Should bring back capital punishment for people like that- then they might think twice before abusing a child.
#6
Poor child, so desperately sad. An apology, however much she means it, doesn't undo all the suffering that poor boy endured.

Make my blood boil. Lock the all up and throw the key away

In light of yesterday's Catholic abuse scandal, this is just sad.

V1 is this an actual sensible thread by you:giggle:

Its to late for her to say sorry she shood be locked up and the key thrown away.
#11
Of course she is sorry now, she is about to be sentenced....anything for a little sentence. May that poor boy Rest In Peace and be free from all the pain and suffering he endured on this planet

Why as tax payers should we pay to look after her in a cushy prison? She will probably be put on a special wing to protect her from other inmates anyway. There is no justice in the world.

Because that's the justice system in this country. Chances are she'll be attacked in prison sporadically.
#14
She is only sorry she was found out - scumbag
#15
She says in her statement (which is so obviously written by someone with a higher IQ than her ) "I have lost all I hold dear to me , now every day of my life is full of guilt and trying to come to terms with my failure as a mother."
Well boo hoo for you. How can she say Peter was dear to her when she knowingly watched someone systematically abuse and eventually kill her son.
#16
absoloute joke if this was happening to your son youd do whatever you could to protect your child and if that meant knifeing the attacker whilst asleep or putting poision in his food we'd do it

Yeah probably is a bit too sensible, but I just found it funny (dark humour before you start) that she even dared to apologise. I mean... well I just dunno where you start. What on earth did she expect the reaction to be?

I bet she doesnt even realise what she did to her poor child. it pure evil and no words or actions can allow her to ever be forgiven.

It's not unusual what she did, and if she hadn't she'd have been called unrepentant. I have no sympathy for her, but the media would've made a story out of this either way.

Can you really be repentant over something like this?

I have no idea.

may she burn in hell

but not before her prison life is made as hell-like for her

and hopefully it'll be a case of "what goes around, comes around" with whoever it is who scripted that letter for her.

scum of the lowest order in my opinion

It was more than likely her representation so I don't think you know what you're saying.

Say something stupid, get found out and then say blah, blah, blah.

Change the record.

Sorry, but the chap I was responding to wished harm on a person who almost certainly didn't want to represent this woman, but did so out of a belief in a person's right to representation when facing accusations.

On what possible level does objecting to that make someone a 'bit of a tit'.

My advice, don't answer because you know I'm right in this instance.

We have known that for weeks, pathetic, boring and unimaginative springs to mind, really embarrassed himself with an attempt at trolling this morning,2 threads spammed by a few of us within seconds.

Back on topic, hopefully the woman will suffer painfully for a long time, getting what she deserves

So you were one of the ones who spammed it. I was actually looking for advice to help a friend. Liddle actually came up with some which was nice.

Trolling it wasn't my misguided friend.

You don't have to say thanks for the advice.

Seems very strange she would do this... advised by lawyer perhaps?

Or out of a sense of fear about what will happen to herself.

I'm sure they will have to have psychiatric reports regarding this woman before they sentence fully.

She would have been advised to show some remorse. It's unfair for some misguided people to blame the lawyer for this as they have to represent their client as best as possible.

Maybe she actually does feel some remorse. No one can say for certain.

I'd be interested in any psychiatric reports - not sure what can force a person to be like this. Not a big believer in people being 'born evil' so something must have happened along the way.

i feel bad when im short with my kids sometimes  how the hell could any parent do this, sorry my ****

I agree she would have been advised to express remorse. In my mind true remorse for something like that would be unutterable so her words are probably for her own skin. I say probably because obviously we don't know this person and don't know the full circumstances. I always think it important to keep an open mind.

I do also think that those who watch a systematic abuse of another human being ( whether this be kids filming the bullying of another child in the school playground or a mother who is aware of her child's abuse by her partner or those who are aware of domestic abuse and do nothing to stop it, ) are in many ways just as guilty as the abuser themselves.

No-one as you say is "born evil". Some personalities get "sucked up" and controlled by others. Who knows if this was the case here. But a letter to "say sorry" does smack of falsehood and deception to me.

It's an entirely different universe isn't it.

We can all be better parents at times. It isn't possible to be a perfect mummy or daddy every minute of every day. But to allow this.... another Universe.

I never knew about this story until just now, was reading the article and one line just stuck out as being totally random. It's as if the writer just chucked it in as an afterthought

Oh, by the way...
The boyfriend will also be sentenced for raping a two-year-old girl.
