  Look for Willow Creek Software - Backup to DVD/CD (also backs up to HDD). Very easy to use.

  Cobian backup, a bit messy to setup, but does a great job. Even supports shadow copy. Perfect for scheduled backups.

  Yes, the OP said he wanted his data mirrored onto the new disk. SyncToy will do this.

  Thanks for the advice guys, having some serious PC problems at the moment. Will look into the SyncToy and second copy ones. Just want something thats easy to use (and free!) =)

  dont use synctoy as its not for backing up
