Morning All

I am waking up with a stiff back which goes after an hour or two.

I have a FIRM mattress, i go to bed around 10-11pm but when i wake up 6.30 am, my middle and/or lower back is stiff/sore and i have to get out of bed.

Any advice?

do you have alot or big pillows i used to find my back would be stiff when i slept like this?

if so try sleeping flat or with a very thin pillow.

go to the doctors. can't see the point in asking here. you wouldn't seriously act on the advice of a complete stranger on a shopping forum?

spammed, see a doctor not unqualified randoms who may give dangerous advice

Before going to see an osteopath who sorted me out...., I used to lay flat on my back, with a pillow tucked under my knees. This keeps your back straighter if u raise your legs slightly.

it dont get more dangerous than taking a pilow from under your head while you sleep.

I think you'll find someone pushing a pillow onto your head while your asleep is a lot more dangerous than that :whistling:

if only......

I have suffered back problems for years. If you sleep on your side, try a pillow between your knees. It keeps the spine more in line.
