Hi All

I was hopeing someone might be abul to help me. I have a bad credit history (due to the time I lost my job (I hate John L***S)) but I realy could do with a loan for a new (Used) car that does not have a huge APR.

Looking for about £4000
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Sainsbury's was good a while ago but not sure about now, think it might have gone up.
One of the banks is advertising a low interest loan on TV, is it Lloyds?

whatever you do, dont use Yes Car Credit, or companies of that sort

Buy from Car Giant or similar, who do in-house loans.

Are you buying private or from a car dealer? Some car dealers actually do better interest rates than the banks these days.

Not sure how strict they are on credit history though.

define "huge apr"
i'm probably in a similar situation to you, and managed to get car loans through hsbc and black horse/lloyds. both of which have been around 17% which is high, but compared to places like yes and welcome finance, is sod all.
