BAD WEATHER WARNING

Hey just a heads up to anyone travelling to Hamilton, the weather is horrendous, really heavy snow, terrible conditions.
I have just come from there (took a long time) and there are cars stranded all up the road, so if you are travelling there, really take care.

I went to Dumbarton once a few years ago. There was no snow then so I don't really trust this thread.

Go outside and throw a couple of snowballs at the dish, it should knock any snow of the receiver - that's what I did, happily watching tv now (couldn't get to work unfortunately)...

Same here in Edinburgh - yet again! Really bad - eldest away to school in town as it was open today but since she's been there down came the snow very quickly. The teachers have told her she has permission to go home but can't because traffic has come to a standstill everywhere in Edinburgh - everyone caught short again. Even the bypass has stopped. She's having to go to my mum's indefinitely. What a nightmare.

Plus I'd finally got out for the first time yesterday as it had stopped Saturday morning but still mounds of it everywhere but space enough to get the car out on to the main bit. Now we're back to square one AARGH! One good thing though - I actually had a mail delivery yesterday (Sunday believe it or not) of huge pile of parcels and normal mail for the first time in 8 days. Well done postie and van man :)

No I don't but thats not the point. Wait until you see barky's reply until you start bleating on like you're some sort of regular. It's a bit of fun, and it goes both ways. Until morons like you get involved, then I tell it like it is.

Never mind the snow - its midday and its minus 10 degrees (North Yorkshire) . Apparently it was minus 15 last night. Central locking on the car has given up, legs are frozen maybe its time to get some thermals......

Have to admit, I think I made an error driving in today - I work in the Mearns, and don't know if I will be home. Dropped off my boy at his Grans here as well. The Council said they will wait until later on to decide if we can leave without getting snowed in, by which time it will be too late.
