I have ended up with loads of very ripe apples, kiwis and especially loads of bananas (don't know what made me think my family would eat anything so healthy over the hols) Made a banana cake and some smoothies...anyone got any other suggestions please?

Make some apple pies/apple crumbles, once these have been made they can last for a few days in the fridge.
Also i think that my mum sometimes (when she has too many) cooks the apples and then freezes them in their juices for use in a pie/crumble at a later date.

edit - Just realised that my mum does all of the above with cooking apples, and i think you may be talking about non cooking apples (golden delicious etc), i do not know how well they go into pie/crumble or how they taste once cooked...

I would make smoothies, love them when you get the combination right :)

fruit salad for desert today?
Is that too obvious?
Or have you some jelly you can chop it up into?

Smoothie-fy them, and freeze. If you've got lolly stick things, they make yummy if VERY sticky lollies!
