I recently had a few problems with BangCD, I ordered some items and the site showed an error when I got to thte confirm screen, I checked my account,s aw that it hadn't gont through and then tried agaim, same thing happened, so I decided to leave it I then looked at my account a few days latyer to see they had taken 2 lots of £43 from me, nothing in my account section but the money has been removed, I have contacted thems everal times about this and not even received a reply, does anyone have an address, or phone number, i know its meant to be based in the far easyt but the money goes out to Bang CD Coventry.

Any ideas ?

Your not the only one having problems and them ignoring emails.

Im still waiting on an item that was ordered a month ago which took them two weeks to despatch hence ive been waiting two weeks for it.

Like you they have my money, but i paid with a debit card where as if you paid by a credit card you should get your money back from the supplier of your card. If it is a credit card id ring them up now and tell them whats happened

But if anyone has any way of successfully getting thru to bangcd id appreciate it too

No, mine was a debit card as well, I've ordered things from them frequently and never had a problem until October time when lots of things seem to ahve gone missing taken ages to arrive. I don't even mind the stuff arriving late, but I do object to £86 ebing removed with nothing at all to show for it, and no proof on my account they've even taken it, exceot my online bank account, like many £85 is a lot to lose 2 weeks before x-mas.

Yeah not good eh.....Id ask your bank for advise maybe tell them the money has been taken without authorisation and they may treat it like they do with internet fraud..........

If no luck there id try the citizens advice bureau......

Mine was only a £7 cd and im annoyed enough that they took my money on the day of the order and a month later I still havent got it, i sure wont be using them again even tho ive had no problems before as their customer service is clearly non existant......

I'm generally usign the online part on their site and the address provided to them by me when i actually got a reply in the past :

Might be worth a shot, hope so :)

They are Singapore based so no UK contact that I can find.
I think something happened with them in recent months but I'm not absolutely sure of the full facts. I believe that another online retailer has sprung up that appeared to be using Bang's customer database, they are called Crazy Tiger.

As I say I'm not 100 % certain what was/is going on and I'm not suggesting any dodgy dealings by any means.

If I can find any more info for you I will. All my dealings with Bang have been perfect but Crazy Tiger, or the postal services, have managed to lose my first order and am waiting for a refund !!

It's not looking good, i wonder what happeend, if someone bought over BangCD, I'd been using them since October last year with no problemat all, slight delay in stuff arriving but none of this hassle :( I'm thinking I can kiss goodbye to the CDs, Blu Rays and games I hhad also ordered from there, meaning they've taken me for well over £100 :(

Certainnly sounds like its worth doing, would hate people to be as out of pocket at this time of the year as I am :(

i/ve had same problemm tried to order a CD for £4.99 & got timed out & have been charged 12 times...cannot get any respose from them & paid debit card..bank said they wont help...
any one managed to speak to bang cd???

Got a reply from bang cd to my email which is basically blaming the post for the non delivery of my item a month later and asking whether I want a replacement or a refund.

So they must monitor the mail box so the guys with problems of multiple money being taken might have a chance of getting it back from bangcd.

Still wont use them again mind

I know that they do monitor the mailbox, as I've had replies from them before, problem is they're purposefully not replying toour emails which imo makes them thieves,. they could at least reply and say they're looking into it,. but they'd rather just ignore me and keep the cash :(

Problems are amounting over the last few weeks with this retailer.

We have been a customer for three years. In the past, orders used to arrive within 5 working days and customer services replied to enquires within 48 hours. Since mid-November, 23 out of 42 orders never arrived. Customer services is not responding to emails anymore.

This company is experiencing serious problems at the moment. Stay clear of them for the time being! We stopped ordering from them this week and have filed complaints with our credit card company for refunds of the non-delivered orders.

Strangely enough i finally got an email saying they were refunding my money within 5 working days (hopefully not the working days they say they can deliver by) and some of my items arrived this weekend, amazingly having taken about 3 weeks to get here, so who knows, they have good proced but I'm not sure I'll order from them again weven if they do get me all my stuff back.

Really you got a reply out of bangcd. How? I've tried emailing the [email protected]">[email protected] and [email protected] and got nothing from them. I stupidly ordered a CD from them after the Robbie Williams incident. Then the CD I ordered disappeared from their site. They've taken the money off my card the dispatch date has been and gone. No response from them. Even after asking politely for a refund if they can't ship my goods. Thieves! :x

I'm not sure, possibly my threats of legal action and escalating a paypal dispute on one of the items may have done it, but I did eventually get a reply on Sunday evening toboth accounts that I emailed from.

Fingers crossed theyactually come through with it.

Well, I ordered the Robbie Williams CD and was dispatched 30th Nov, still nothing email over 8 times now no response to any of them. Strangely I ordered another CD several days after I ordered the Robbie CD and that arrived on Saturday??? Would suggest someone is nicking them, can't be a postal delay if a CD I ordered days after has arrived but the other hasn't?!

Anyway, long story short Bang CD can explode with a bang as I won't use them again, can see them going bust soon if this is the way they treat there customers there will be none left!

Great - I just ordered two dvd boxsets from this company as a birthday and xmas present - not sure I can expect to receive the items now! No money has been taken from my account yet, and one of the items has been marked as despatched. I wonder if it is worth contacting my CC company to cancel the payment and just ordering elsewhere. I had no idea this company was based in Singapore. One of the boxsets needs to be here by Saturday!!! Admittedly I did only order on Friday.

Actually better set the record straight I emailed them yesterday. Asked them for a full refund for the items that are no longer on their site and they replied the same day offering a refund. Result!

Still going to be very cautious about ordering from them in the future thou. And still waiting for that Robbie Williams CD that has been dispatched. Keeping my fingers crossed here!

I ordered a DVD on 24th November (3 weeks ago) and the only contact I've had from them is the order confirmation. I checked the website and it says expected despatch date 1st December but below that says order not shipped. Have e-mailed them 4 times since last week to ask when it will be posted but have had no reply.

The DVD was supposed to be a christmas present but I don't think I'm going to get it in time now if it hasn't been posted yet.

Same here - both items on my order confirmation say "Ready to ship". I got one despatch email for one of the items, but not heard a peep about the other one. No reply to the 5 emails I have sent them either! Will not be using them again that is for sure!!!!

i ordered a gavin and stacey boxset from them last week and it came yesterday, so no problems for me :thumbsup:

I used the support@ addresses above and got a response. I don't know if they've got some filtering system that assigns how old an order is and flags up in their support system. But because my order was getting towards 3weeks from dispatch I got a response. Although it might be worth asking for a refund now if you've bought something for Xmas.

Anyway to be honest it doesn't matter to me anymore I received my Robbie CD yesterday. So I've got no problems with BangCD apart from their slowness.

I was really surprised. I ordered a boxset last Friday and it arrived on Tues, and just had my second despatch email through, so it looks like I may be all set for xmas! So they weren't as bad for me as they have been for others.

I ordered that but nothing so far, they've taken the money but i've had no confirmation email or anything. Stupidly i didnt sign up just bought it, emailed them last night............nothing so far

probably wont use them again no matter how cheap they are

I ordered a CD for my mum on the 5th was dispatched on the 7th and arrived on the14th so not to bad for this time of year.
