I KEEP GETTING EMAILS FROM HALIFAX AND NOW LLOYDSTSB ABOUT UPDATING MY INFO WITH THEM, ONE EVEN STATED THAT MY ACCOUNT WAS FROZEN AND NO LONGER IN USE!
WHEN YOU TRY AND REPLY IF WONT SEND.
I HAVE LET HALIFAX KNOW VIA WEBSITE BUT LLOYDSTSB DOESNT SEEM TO HAVE A SECTION FOR THIS ON THEIR SITE.
BEWARE EVERYONE!

dont even open them, if they need to contact you it will be a letter, not an email.
i get these all of the time, even from banks i havent got an account with

They send them to everyone, I get them supposedly for all the main banks despite the fact I only actually use one...this has been going on for years now...

do you mean your password? sometimes it doesnt seem to affect the password if in cap locks and then othertimes or other sites it does. it must be the level of security they use each time?:?

it's best not to reply to these emails either as its confirming that the email address is one thats in use and you will just end up getting more of these types of mail. just delet em all and not even bother opening them. Banks will contact you by letter not by email.

I had a pretty good email a couple of weeks ago. It was spoofed to say that it came from the Bank Of Scotland and it went on to say something about my online banking account. It very nearly got me - I'd just half an hour previously returned home after opening a new current and ISA account with them.
