  you can't use your profile to play games offline on the banned one as it won't let you get achievments etc

  When you load up you profile on the unbanned one it'll be corrupted. You have to recover it every time you want to use it (on the unbanned one) and therefore the score goes back to what m$ has recorded (the last time you went on live)

  Also every save you USE on it, will be locked to the banned console.
  It´s called a revoked/blacklisted console.
  It can´t create "trusted" content anymore (trusted content works on all consoles).

  There is a way round this now though, so I have read up on.
  it requires a little bit of soldering and some NAND Flash hex editing, but it is possible, it is now confirmed that, although it doesnt unban your console it does allow the installation of games to the hard drive and no longer corrupts save games and profiles, so you can use it as before.
  For all those with modded boxes that havent been banned yet, save yourself the hassle and just don't use it on Live anymore, going through all that to make it useable again is way too much effort.

  @Mike: Too much work and too complicated for the average user.
  Like you said, if they have a flashed console and haven´t been banned yet they should just stay offline with it.

  Don´t do it. It´s on the same level as gamesaving/gamerprofile editing/gamerscore hacking.

  Haha yeah tbh i won't be doing it but it's possible.
