Batteries probably dying.

Everyone I know who has a Dell laptop has the same battery problem. It makes you wonder :)

Perhaps one of the cells is duff?

My dell battery died after 10 months and was replaced.

How long have you had it?

Is this a new one or one you've had for several months? If new it takes several charging cycles for the battery to get to full potential....

Damn!! I thought it was yours and we wouldn't have had to put up with you for 22% of the time!!:-D

Only Joking!!

They'll just send you another, they let me keep my old one so I had two batteries.

Used the 'faulty' one til it died.

I've got 2 dells don't have this charging problem. Though i have learnt you shouldn't run your laptop off the battery unless you really have to. They soon lose their max capacity.

I went on the live chat online and they sorted it out there and then.

They will pick up the duff one when they drop off the new one (well they did with mine)
