hi there guys, need a bit of advice here. my partner recently bought a copy of bfbc2, limited edition. it was preowned from game.
the thing is now after it just sitting there for so long hes decided to sell it on ebay, i have been questioned by a potential bidder, about whether or not the vip code has been used?
truth is i aint got a clue, it was never activated by my partner, but theres still a possibility the previous owner had, although the vip cod is still in the box !!!!! so should game have taken it out if it had been used, or do they not check it.
as i would imagine the game will get more bids if its unused as opposed to it being used. so confused!!!!!

is there a way of finding out if the code has been used without trying it. would EA be able to check it out?????

If it was preowned then game should have put in a new code - after all it's just a piece of paper in the box ...

only way for sure is to input the code and see if you get the new maps.

Tell the buyer you are not sure as it was bought P/O and you haven't used it - he has 2 options!!!

The reason for the VIP code was the makers of the game to force people to buy the game brand new as they don't get revenue from pre-owned sales so they won't have put a brand new code in the box.

The only way the code will still be usable is if the original owner didn't use the code which is doubtful but the only way to find out is to input the code so your buyer would be taking a risk
