http://www.radiotimes.com has a personal TV guide for up to 2 weeks.

"Customise your listings to show only the information for the channels you watch, in order and format you prefer."

Is BBC HD a pay service?
No, BBC programmes are funded by your licence fee. You do not have to pay extra to watch them in high definition, even if you are watching them on a subscription service. You will need a suitable digital box from your provider or retailer, and it is possible that some service providers will only offer this if you take a subscription service.

either freesat HD, Virgin V+HD or Sky+HD. From next year some places will be able to get it via freeview too (although you'll need a new freeview receiver).

You need a HD ready box - with Sky, Virgin, Freesat. Make sure it has the digital tick on it.

You should get a booklet with your post about the switchover.

Sites found.

You can get a HD ready TV with freeview in it but pricey! HD boxes with freesat, etc. range from about £70 and you can get them at Argos, etc. BT have something for HD.

But which box - I'm still trying to figure that one out!

They do this a lot. Same with Sky.

Either that or get PlayTV, as I believe that's the only existing freeview receiver that'll be able to receive a HD signal (due to be able to upgrade firmware via the PS3).

PlayTV Update - PlayStation.Blog.Europe

Our very first release of PlayTV was well received by many of you out there and I am the first to admit that we have still plenty of room to add and improve things. The major thing that we are working on at the moment is enabling HD and Series Link, but there are other fixes and improvements that we will be putting out there.

Thanks for your loyalty and patience as we implement these improvements: I look forward to trying to incorporate your suggestions, requests and ideas into PlayTV to try to meet your expectations. I’ll be back with some feedback on those soon.
