Just thought i should tell you whats happened so youll know....

Bought something last monday, it arrived tuesday, i HATED it, so decided to send it back to ebuyer, they recieved it wednesday, emailed me wednesday at 4pm'ish to say id been refunded, i was like great.

Kept checking my bank, up until today, STILL NO REFUND, depite the 2 emails from ebuyer saying it would take 3 working days maximum.

Decided to give them a ring today being its 5 working days later, and thought it was an incredibly long refund...
I rang, and he said, yeah, its definatly been refunded on wednesday i can see it here.

While im on the phone i got an email from google checkout, opened it up, to be told id just recieved a refund from ebuyer.
I told the guy on the end of the phone, and he said, hold on ill look into it.
He came back and said "unfortunatly it seemed it didnt send you the refund before i refreshed your account, and me doing this has made it do so"

So, now im a little bit miffed to say the least, he apologised, but, well - why email saying ive been sent a refund if i havent.

Anyway, the whole point in this thread isnt for a moan or any sympathy, its just to let you lot know what might happpen if you need a refund :geek: since i know a few of you will have used google checkout.

Oh ****** ! I'm sending something back that I bought via google checkout. Already had loads of hassle in arranging to get it sent back.

I'll let you know what happens at point of refund.

I wouldnt worry, its called someone not refunding you, doing it while your on the phone and then blagging it!

This is what i got, but didnt actually get the refund :geek:

If they do have a free phone number im going to be miffed, as it cost me £4 to ring them today, crazy!

Hopefully ill get the refund by the weekend, as i have a BIG night out on saturday :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

eBuyer are winding me up, I can't wait til this £10 promotion is over so I never have to use them again - I really don't like them.

I placed an order yesterday at around 7pm, at 8.30pm I wanted to go add something else to the order and it wouldn't let me, so I contacted them and they said there was nothing they could do...too late...but it's not even being delivered until NEXT sodding Thursday. Unbelievable.

Although, the items I purchased are not showing on ebuyer for me to be able to arrange a return.

0845 1231100 or 0845 1461720. I haven't had to return anything so haven't had this problem, but couldn't get at the item I ordered to track it on Ebuyer's site either. I won't be using the combination of Google checkout and Ebuyer again, though I have always found Ebuyer very good in the past so no problems buying from them direct.

Just to let you know i finally got my refund today, only 9 days after they recieved the item back.

Well, as you predicted...no refund here yet either. I got the email to say it was coming 10 days ago now, 2 emails later and still no response! Good job I am in no mega rush for it I suppose.

Ebuyer suck, had nothing but bad experiences with them.

Have you given ebuyer a ring? Thats what i had to do, for them to refresh my case :-( and for the refund to be sent, when the refund is actually sent, you will get an email from google checkout confirming your money has been refunded.

Nah, can't see the sense in paying to call them when I am in no rush, if they haven't responded to my emails by Monday though I will have to (it's funny, because I sent them a seperate email about something else at the same time I sent that one and have had TWO responses about that issue!)

Good luck then, but, as i said, i got the refund AFTER google checkout confirmed they had recieved a refund, as i think we paid google, who in turn paid ebuyer.

A little note to add about ebuyer is.
Ive rang them twice, each time ive got busy and had to disconnect then ring back later.
Once, it literally rang one and i put it down, both times, theyve rang me back, so if you dont want to pay for the whole call do that.

Sadly, i rang back both times :-(

Yup finally got it here too, though they didn't refund me the postage so I have had to chase that up now as well! Bloomin ebuyer!

im also getting a refund for a faulty HD. Will keep an eye out thanks.
