Hi there,

I'm looking for some advice.

I've got my PC in bedroom wired to the telewest modem box. But I bought a second hand laptop which came with a Blekin Wireless G plus notebook card.

Does anyone know what kind of router i need to buy so i can use both the pc and laptop. I don't mind the pc still being hard wired and only the laptop wireless but i need to know the box i need.

Cheery:)

most wireless routers also allow you to plug in network cables too.

just ensure that the router allows x number of wireless connections plus y number of wired (10/100 LAN) computers

hi there, do you mean any belkin wireless router is compatible with this card??

any wireless router will be compatible with any wireless notebook card as long as they both do 802.11b and 802.11g

(you don't need to get a belkin router just because you have a belkin wireless card on your laptop)

Just be careful - the top 2 in the list (from those links) aren't routers, they're signal amplifiers (which you use halfway between a computer and wifi router if the signal won't stretch - it kind of "bounces" the signal off the booster in the middle).
