Well I am out of this thread because I know what comes next.

Leave your baiting & trolling to someone else.

I suspect this very important thread to be pulled or blocked within hours. Which would be a shame.

A BBC commentator earlier said that this had nothing to do with Germany's specific immigration policy per se, he said that if you accepted that number of immigrants from anywhere there would be an equal number of terrorist attacks per head... so if we, in the UK, accepted a million Australians we could expect the same level of terrorist attacks and sexual assaults that Germany as seen... OK, lol ....How fascinatingly deluded people can be in efforts to signal to others how uber liberal they are... Same psychology is in effect here when certain mods proudly sensor discussion that offends their liberal sensibilities. Get real, clowns... some cultures are inferior to ours, and aspects of those cultures can be abhorrent, we shouldn't import them, that's NOT racist... Brexit looks like a better idea every day.

It's heartening to see the likes of Wilders and Trump using the deaths of innocent people to further their far-right agendas.

an agenda against terrorism, how awful of them.

The comments on the previous article were GRIM. People need to get a grip and swallow down their bigotry. They're so convinced of their disgusting racism that they seem to believe they know what happened when the entire Berlin police force, who have actual information and facts, don't. Pathetic to see, and I'm worried about the state of this world!
Including the Berlin Police Force who arrested him.
i may get a bash for saying this from some regulars^^ but I presume the police ran after any brown/ immigrant looking male running away!
wouldn't you run away from a possible attack? it's normal, we all would run to safety wouldn't we.
iv also heard on news that the male in question, DNA samples were taken and the bloods didn't match.

Making presumptions can be dangerous, and at the same time, something you appear to be criticizing others for.

Farage is right, is he not?
Right-wing; yes.
More precisely, he is right-wing scum. His comments about Jo Cox's widower's links to extremism plumbed new depths even by Farage's incredibly low standards. But airfix likes him.
What did NF say?
Mr Farage tweeted: “Terrible news from Berlin but no surprise. Events like these will be the Merkel legacy.”
She's not going to be remembered for anything else.
Do you know absolutely nothing about European politics? Like her or not, Mrs Merkel is one of Europe's political greats.
What are you smoking tonight Ronald?, She has basically screwed Europe.

Allowing those so called refugees in is probably one of the biggest political mistakes since Hitler.

I would do but Neotrix has posted this Thread locked and comments removed - It seems that a post suggesting people with family members in Berlin should get in touch and do a safety check, due to the horrid events out there, turned into name calling and immigration discussion.

48hrs? If they've had him in custody that long, I'd say they've definitely got the wrong guy.

Why are people feeling sorry for the arrested guy when the police have said that it "might not" be the correct person.

Jumping to conclusions again maybe?

it's 2016! have you guys not heard of finger prints and other DNA samples! I'm sure the drivers blood would be around the seat and steering wheel and it would have been confirmed by now if he was the driver. that's why the police is saying his not the driver..
also it's a busy area, I'm sure CCTV would have been operating in the area just like they do in our towns !

in any manhunt there is usually more than one suspect, it's unsurprising that they interview more than one suspect before finding the perpetrator, because he is clearly evil character who wants to hurt innocent people just like us, and our families.

I hope that the guy they have arrested is the guy because if it's not that means there is still a nutcase on the loose with a pistol. It sadly isn't over yet :(.

Maybe the driver had an accomplice? I guess all will become clear. Hopefully sooner than later.

Better to arrest any possible suspect, than leave any possible free, surely?

Sure, it sucks for him that he became a suspect in the first place, but better safe than sorry... I'm sure the police didn't just arrest him then shut up shop and go home as they had their guy, so weren't really wasting time.

No, just the hundreds in the market at the time it happened. What more do you want to know about the witnesses?
