would defo have loved to have seen pink floyd, the doors, jimmy hendrix - mostly before my time though.
Have seen Roger Waters do dark side of the moon though which was fantastic!

ooh and Bob Marley, have been to the Bob Marley museum in Jamaica, where he's buried. Very strange but cool experience!
#8
New Order, The Stone Roses, The Smiths and the original line-up of the Sugababes.

You're missing nothing by not seeing The Killers by the way, I thought they were an awful live band.

me too went out brought 3 albums and average

Saw Red Hot Chili Peppers and Oasis at v festival a few years ago and was not that impressed with either, was a bit gutted thought they'd be amazing.
One of the best bands I've seen live are the Foo Fighters, the Doves are great at a small venue too
#14
would be zepellin, the doors, janis joplin or hendrix for me. I really should have tried harder for tickets for the led zep concert a coupla years back for the atlantic anniversary but stupidly believed they would tour.-and why not even a dvd of the show yet??

being 49(sad and old),I have been fortunate to have seen many amazing bands live-the jam many many times, the clash, genesis with and without gabriel, pink floyd and ac/dc with and without bon scott. Tull in their heyday, deep purple blah blah-I once virtually lived in the glasgow apollo 3 or 4 nights a week! was at both live aid and live8,but if I had a time machine woodstock would be the festival to have been at!

I go to a lot of concerts now,I never want to be in a position again to say "if only"-saw mccartney yesterday, going to green day tonight and the gaslight anthem on wednesday-I will go to ANYTHING,if its likely to be a good show-live music is my "vice"-dont drink, dont go to the pub or clubs etc and spend fortunes-all my disposable income buys tickets.

altho of course,as everyone should know, springsteen is GOD!

Would have loved to see Nirvana - we had tickets for them during the tour when he shot himself
#18
saw springsteen as a daft one-off when i was in fifth year comp at st james park. my mate rang me and said "why don't we bunk off and blah blah"

didn't know any of his songs, got absolutely pie-eyed, longest i've EVER gone without a wee (bladder the size of a watermelon that day), but there was no way i was going to go to the bog when i managed, by hook and by crook, to get to the front of the crowd.

great gig, great performer, brilliant show.

Bob Marley

saw marley play the glasgow appollo -Im no reggae fan,but somehow he transcends the genre-the atmosphere that night was utterly electric-it was like people were waiting for jesus to take the stage!

Jealous.

Went to see Damian Marley (not exactly the same league but closest I will get) but understand exactly what you mean. Completely different atmosphere for a reggae gig than any other Ive been to. People seem to love his personality and sprit just as much as his music.

Have you ever been to watch Turds of Misery? :-D

RHCP at Hyde Park
Foos at Wembley

All great gigs

Netaid was probably best concert i've been to. Acts included Robbie Willaims, David Bowie, Eurythmics, george Michael, Bryan Adams, Stereophonics, The Coors & Bryan Ferry. As a youngster was also a fan of the Peterborough Country Music Festival where all the big names in country music performed :)

Caz,

Seriously, go see the Aussie Pink Floyd.

If you don't enjoy it I'll give you a refund (lie detector test req'd though, cos I won't believe you!)

They have a lot of the original PF stuff (floating pig etc etc)

RW got them to play for his 50th birthday

xx
