We are spending Christmas abroad - nothing special my husband has to work.

Rather than being stuck with foreign TV - I am planning to buy some x-mass movies to take with us.

We really only got the Polar Express which we all seem to like but I need some more which the who family can enjoy.

How about the Santa Claus movies-we have watched them loads of times as a family-and Stuart Little, also Disney classics like Mary Poppins & Chitty Chitty Bang Bang-prehaps i've never grown up !
The santa claus movie 1, 2 and 3 (the ones with Tim Allen.... my kids love them:thumbsup:

Exactly what I was going to say, every year we watch these 3, Polar Express and Miracle on 34th Street, the whole family love them all.
Every year I watch 'Its a wonderful life'. It is magical and the black and white version is even better than the modern version.
It's a Wonderful Life

Has to be the ultimate Christmas movie... I love it
I've said it once and I'll say it again...Bernard and the Genie

ok most of my suggestions have been said but heres my list:

Home alone
unacompanied minors (also called grounded) - kids will love it!

santa claus the movie
the santa clause trilogy
the grinch
jingle all the way
national lampoon
nightmare before christmas
someones just posted an amazon offer for Mary Poppins-see link below..........
u cud possibly throw oliver in there.
I would of recommended a movie called Tokyo Godfathers, a Japanese animation that feels like a Frank Capra movie, except that an english dub was never made so would be a little to wordy with subtitles for the kids.
Has to be Bugsy Malone, got 3 grandchildren age 4, 8 and 12 and they all love it
