Hi All,

Just got my new iphone 4 from Tesco, first ever one for me. Any tips on what brand is best for screen protector and case, and where to get them from. Thank!!

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, but couldn't find it myself!

Can't see the logic in that. :?
So if your screen gets damaged, you'll upgrade to better protection later? :?

What I meant was, that while I wait for the better one's to be released ( and possibly reviewed) I will use some cheap ones :-D

Just get the cheapest, no point in wasting more money

Sums you up really. Cheap.

OP: Bodyguardz are best, InvisibleShield are good, and also available now from Carphone Warehouse.

I was gonna wait for the bodyguardz, but bought invisi anyway as I didnt wanna scratch it!

Mind me asking how much the InvisiShield was Vib ? How do you apply one, is it with mist/water ?

Might pop into my CPW tommorow and have see if they have any.

Cheers !

Yes, you apply them with mist / water.
You need to take your time and you need to have clean hands.
I've got to go out now but send me a pm to remind me, I have a discount code you can have from Zagg who make the invisible shield ( if you can wait for mail order that is. It doesn't take very long. )

Thanks for the offer, it's very kind of you.

I do have a Wrapsol one on order though (hopefully will get sent today).

I was asking as I thought if they weren't too expensive in CPW then i could get one and use it stright away tempoarily. Are they really difficlut to apply ? I've applied standard sticky screen protectors before with mixed results, I usually always get a bit of dust underneath them !

I'll take the code from you if you don't mind, I'll order one and use whichever arrives first.

Thanks ! Rep left !

Most of the anti iPhone comments are due to jealousy, OP, dont let it bother you. I have just been to the orange shop to get my iPhone 4 a Gear4 Cover, its the only one I could get in my area same day but its very good.

How good is the retina display!! Im very impressed.

Hey, I think you have most of the answers, but just be careful before you use a discount code.

The price in CPW is £14.99 for the iPhone 4 complete package (front, back and sides). That price usually stacks up pretty well against the website prices, even with discount.

(Plus, amazingly really, CPW have iPhone 4 packs already available. Pretty good going really)

Nice one ! I'll head into my local tomorrow to see if they have any.

Knowing me I'll mess up applying it though.

Thanks again.

It is £16.75 approx from the Zagg website listed in post #7.
I have a 40% off code if you want it but only pm me if you are going to use it.

With screen protectors it really doesn't matter, get the cheapest one as it will be exactly the same as the more expensive ones (or so I was told by an Apple Genius)

Cases are different, it is worth spending money on a decent one. I would stay away from most silicone cases as they quite often break, stretch and the colour rubs off at the corners, they also are very good at picking up fluff from your pockets. Hard shell cases offer the best protection but can be bulky although you can get slim line ones.

I would recommend a leather case, have a look at the Apple Store for ideas. They offer good protection, aren't too bulky and last a long time.
