Right so wasn't sure what category to stick it in but after thinking of getting beats by dre all these days (and stupid hmv cancelling my orders)

What gaming headset do you use?
Would you recommend it?

I'm looking for some good ones depending on how good they are..from £40-100

Thanks

if I had a hole in my pocket, I'd get this:

Razer Headset

Would go perfect with starcraft :)

Tritton AX PRO's are a little out of your budget, you can grab a pair from http://www.limexb360.co.uk for £130 but there multi-platform so can be used with PS3. There also true 5.1.

Personally X11's are all you need when it comes to gaming, unless you want some X31s which are wireless but eat batteries. X41's are not need at all.

What would you recommend for a bit of music on the pc aswell?
I need to get one this week, my exams are finishing on wednesday and I want to go into hibernation mode for a week!

I would honestly go with the X11's. The Trittons are more for hardcore gamers, where the X11's do nearly the same job but are also good for music. I suppose the Trittons will supply better sound for gameplay AND music but it's just not worth the extra money for such a little difference.

Another option which is in-between those are the SteelSeries Spectrum 5XB which are £65 from http://www.limexb360.co.uk. Plus you get a pair of FPS Freeks with them for free. So it's pretty much out of the X11's or Steelseries, it depends on what you want to spend.

EDIT: Iv'e herd that the PX21's brake easily.

It's not about my look in my opinion, i mean who's going to see you in your bedroom with them on? Look into the SteelSeries Spectrum 5XB, they have the sound and the looks.
