Hey.

We all know that an insurance policy is only as good as when it handles it claims.

There are loads of cheap ones out there but does anyone have any experience of claiming on one and how good was it.?

Doing a few holidays this year so will need a few policies

Thanks guys :)

It might be cheaper to get one with a bank account if you are travelling a lot, they generally cover for any trip up to 30 days at a time and cover medical, baggage, delay, cancellation............

Sorry to semi-hijack the thread but what about for pregnant women? My wife is going on her hols before it's too late to travel. Usually my company insurance covers us but she's heading out before I can.

You need an annual policy if you are doing a few trips - not the cheapest - and the only claim I have ever made was through the post office insurance - and was smooth and a fast payment

Do not use Insure and go.
Took them til Nov to pay out for a trip in May. Had to send them the same info 5 times and only got it sorted by emailing the info to the same guy every 30 mins for a day. . .

Thanks everyone...

I don't know whether to get a yearly one as the first hol is one my own, the second is with the family, the third is with friends.

Can I get insurance for just my child on the family one?

It is now illegal for insurance companies to discriminate against pregnant women, the only way she would not be covered is if she was advised not to travel........we had to dump our insurance booklets and reprint coz of it.
