Well, some great bargains to be had from prime day especially the 20% off Amazon Warehouse deals.

I've picked my self up a brand new phantom 4 for £560 from the warehouse, just has a damaged box like new.

I'm very interested to hear some of the bargains you people have picked up?

Not a lot. Bought a box of Ferrero Rocher. Might have bought a dot if the £10 off for students hadn't expired.
Most of the RRPs are ridiculous - I've seen six or seven 'deals' for items I've had for free, each with RRPs of £30-£40.

I've had Prime for a few years now and have never bought anything during these 'sale' events. Much of it is overpriced tat that they can't sell, and the majority will be on sale again in a future event.

I wasted a while sifting through the deals and as far as I'm concerned it's a load of old rubbish. Nothing that I really want to buy, and not very impressive prices. Complete waste of time.

Wanted a good saute pan and knife set and a Hue Go or Bloom.

Turns out it's mostly crap. A lot of the stuff can be found cheaper elsewhere too! Was nearly caught out twice.

In the end I only bought a Hue Go from the warehouse at £49.91 after discount.

Too many brand names that are seemingly just made for Amazon. Example:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ross-Henery-Professional-Eclipse-Stainless/dp/B002ZCKIBM/ref=sr_1_18?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1499764776&sr=1-18&keywords=knife+set

Looks good right? 4 stars etc..

It's actually tat that rusts easily. The real reviews are drowned out.

I've done alright so far. Managed Infinite Warfare, 6 month's Xbox Live Gold, 12 Month's EA Access and £20 Xbox credit for £18.69 thanks to the student code and the current 3 £5 promo.

Thanks. It makes up for a bad deal the other day. I bought a PS4 slim with game for £160 described as new and turned up with no game or headphones, clearly used with scratches and tatty box. I was in 2 minds as to get some more money knocked off but will simply return it after this pro deal.

I would return it. Both the Pro deal & this one are pretty good....

There was a similar deal with Crash instead of Wipeout.

That's what I noticed in last year's amazon sale. I let my membership run out. Was tad worried I may miss out on something today. But I'm not in the market for tat today.

Great price for the Phantom 4 OP. The Mavic Pro has come a few times today for £680 after discount so might be worth looking at. Personally picked up a Sony FDR-AX53 for £194, normal price is £699.

It's called Amazon Prime Day. Top focus is selling Prime membership. If you happen to get a good deal it's a bonus, but I'd still check the price history on camelcamelcamel.com, keepa.com, lootr.com, thetracktor.com, and others.

That's the only real bargain I've seen. Amazon changed the price back to normal within a few minutes (it wasn't a flash deal - it wasn't meant to revert until around midnight), so I suspect that may have been a misprice. The 4TB model bore the same £119.99 price at the time.

They will knock 20% extra off if you ask, if you push them they do sometimes give a greater %.

It would need to be more as the game would cost that but its going back as I have the pro now .

A phone people are getting their pitchforks out about for £114. I will buy an Echo too, just waiting for customer service to get back to me with an update about the student code. I have been holding my breath for several hours now and my face is turning blue.

I wanted some Hue things too, but I've given my blue face a good slap and decided not to. Oh and as per, none of it is for me.
