SE by far. i used to hate them after owning a t68i, even the t610 didnt do much for me. but the k750i i liked, i loved the w810i and now i'm getting a w850i and i cant wait.

there is not another phone manufacturer just now that produces anything that interests me in the slightest

i used to be on team nokia but their designs are getting stupid and their phones have pointless features and are slow loading etc.

Last 3 phones Ive had have been sony ericsson... menu system is probably better and the functionality is the best ive used... the k750i i have now is probably the best overall phone ive ever owned (and ive had 10 or so across various makes)

I'm the same. Used to be a Nokia guy as they lead the market, but they seem slow to keep up with progression and their better spec phones are outrageously expensive, with a lot of buggy firmwares.

Sony ericsson without a doubt. You couldn't have paid me money to change back to a nokia after having one of those beauties. I'm now on my 4th (different models T300 T630 K750i and W850i ) and all of them still work. The T630 was my main phone for nearly 3 years.

From a profestional point of view we always had many more nokias returned than anything eles. Even taking into consideration the ratio of nokias bought over just about anything at one point.
Give me an ericcson anyday

jennybubbles, have you used bluetooth headphones with your w850i? its the reason im getting one to replace my w810i

Sony Ericsson gets top marks for me!! You can't beat it!
Samsung would probably be 2nd.

I'd never swap my Nokia 8800 for anything else. Best phone (for me...).

Nope TBH I don't really use walkman part of the phone. I was happy with my k750i but got offered a free upgrade it was a toss up between the 850i and the k800 (?) I choose the w850i cos it had a 1gb memory stick with it and slid up and down :giggle:
im such a girl sometimes lol

Sony Ericsson K810 should be available in a couple of months. Just in time for my upgrade :)

There are supposed to be couple of 5mp phones coming out soon as well.

I'm a sony ericsson man all the way after having a K750 and K800
#11
i will use w85oi till the w610i is more readily available!!

and shame on you jennybubbles!! the walkman is the phones best feature lol
#12
I believe you shanecr BUT when you hae an actie 2 year old with you its important to be able to hear what he's doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#13
lol, with a 9yr old, 4yr old and a new one 4 days over due i'm gonna want to be blocking some noise out!!

I think my N73 works brilliant, on the odd occasion it can just act a bit slow but apart from that its an ok camera/video phone.
#15
I am on my second SE, after transferring from my Samsung D500(which i loved at the time). I wouldn't go back now my current phone is the 630i.
#16
Oh i just love Sony ericsson walkman phones. There so cool. Before that i had to carry around a nokia and an mp3 player
#17
cant beat a sony E

nokia was good once!

back in days of 3310 and 402

Overall Sony seem to have made consistently good handsets since the K750. My current phone is a Nokia handset though as there were no SE handsets hitting the market when my contract came up for renewal.

I can't stand the software/interface on anything but Sony/Nokia, though I do strangely miss my old Sharp phone.

yunno I know what you mean mbeeching I really mis my seimans me45 was a fantastic phone for its time and strangle missable for all its green screen *sigh*

my sharp gx1, i got it the day it was released, was the single most amazing phone i have ever had. there was nothing like it (except the voda version) and never has a phone blew me away since
#21
And where is HTC? They make very good smartphones (MDA, XDA and such).
#22
Nokia nk702
Nokia 3210
Sony J5
Samsung (can't remember model)
Sharp GX30
Sony Ericsson T68i
Sony Ericsson W800i
Sony Ericsson K800i
Nokia 6233 (work phone)

Hands down - Sony Ericsson wins!
#23
Use to be a Nokia guy (they still probably have the best interface), but now prefer SE because their cameras wipe the floor off the competition.
#24
I chose Nokia but only because of my trusty old 6230. I have never used any of the newer Nokia phones. I did have a W800i when they first came out and loved it, but I cashed in and made a profit on it before the price on them fell. Samsung I think have gone back over since the much loved D500 so I ruled them out straight away.

I suppose if I were to upgrade later this year it would be a coin flip between a new Nokia or SE.

Nokia lost the plot after the 8210. I am now an SE convert but can't find anything I like since the release of the W810i. Don't like the K800i, W850i or the new W880i. Also build quality is going down hill on SE.

The new K810 will be out end of May. It's a smaller version of the K800.

I can't help but notice the phones that are now appearing on a certain online auction site, they often say they are from Korea and support MP4 etc. They even look quite neat.
Has anyone had any experience with these?
I'm sure that they are probably just cheap tat, but I can't help but be tempted.

I have phones for a few years, only replace them when they stop working.....
