I have/had all of them. Depends what you want from your phone...

The iphone is not for everyone.

I would suggest the N82 actually or the N95 8GB (its only going to get better.

I would second the last comment...Nokia N series while they always promise a lot, they deliver very little...their software is so buggy and slow it makes you want to pull your hair out..they always crash..and navigatition between menues is so slow..it's like this..tap the navigation pad and then count two seconds before you expect to see the cursor do as commanded! It's sad that if you want a higher spec camera phone or one with enough memory to store all your favourite tracks that Nokia force you to take one of their Buggy Symbian based phones...IN this I must say Sony Ericssons win hands down..they are very very reliable, fast to use and come with all the bits that most of us realistically make use of: Great cameras and musical play back...O and how could I forget..A fast snappy responsive phone that doesn't mind taking the odd drop here or there..

If you want a great Camera Phone I'd say the K850i
If you want a great Music Phone that also has a very good Camera then get the new W960i
If you really need internet browsing then consider the Nokia N82..but be sure to go into a store and play around with it for 10 - 15 minutes...cos when I took the plung on my N95..I dod so after reading review after review praising it..sadly it turned out to be a pile of poo that I could not return..on paper N series phones are amazing...just not in reality...anyone that says otherwise perhaps hasn't been out to realise that Sony now do it way better, you just need to spend a little time UN-conditioning your Nokia programmed way of doing things

o and if you really really need an all singing all dancing do it all phone then you really can't beat the MDA Vario III..it has a full slide out QWERT keyboard, fast HSDPA internet access, a large touchscreen, Windows highly configurable platform for apps, a decent 3MP camera and an amazing tilt up screen..built in GPS that actually works unlike that in the N95. Just quite heavy and the battery could be better..(it does though allow you to charge of a USB)

Yup, the Vario 3 or HTC Kaiser makes an N95 or iSheep look like kiddie toys in comparison.
Everyone Ive shown mine off to, wants one!
Battery life seems fine on mine - but maybe Ive just been recharging as I go (whist happily surfing the net via my laptop!
Have you tried googlemaps / sat image and local info on it via its GPS. Phones worth getting just for that!

In all honest I'd be lying if I said that I knew much about it...when I was looking for a phone I did browse through the reviews and the impression I got was that it was ok..(nothign special) which when you cosnider that this was said by the same people that praised the iphone and N95..then you quickely realise that it could make for quite a scary proposition..

I personaly haven't owned a Samsung since the D500...the one thing that pissed me off with that was its lame battery life and lack of a good few basic features..I don't know If Samsung have gotten their act together yet..but I dare not try..

I honestly believe that Sony Ericsson Phones just can't be beaten...if the gorgeous touch screen of the iphone keeps calling you..save yourself the headache and buy yourself an Itouch for media and a solid SE phone for dependable phone features...You'd save yourself a bucket on contractual fees and you'd end up with the same media play back ability and a much much much better phone without being forced to take a ludicrously insane iphone O2 contract..

Again..for a do it all..high spec machin..go with the vario III aka Kaiser

if the HTC Kaiser is a bit big for you...and you don't mind loosing th slide out keyboard..then the XDA Orbit 2 (aka HTC touch cruise only prettier) is for you..

It has buit in GPS, Ultra fast HSDPA a 3MP camera..amongst a shed load of other things....
