payperparcel are very good for courier collections. They use DHL and have never let me down. Also, only pay for the economy rate rather than standard - most parcels arrive within the 24 hours anyway.

Definitely recommend going the courier route, much better service than royal mail (they'll come to your house and pick the parcel).
I've used interparcel in the past a few times, no problems at all.

I booked a courier using Interparcel this morning at about 1am, they come and collected it before lunchtime today for delivery on Thursday. That cost about £8

The cheapest is parceltree

They all use DHL anyway so it doesn't really matter which one you go through too much

They just use DHL anyway so you're better of using Interparcel which I and other members on here would recommend or Parceltree which is cheaper and i've never had any problems with them either. You can pay by paypal for Interparcel too

Personally I never use DHL every time I used them for ebay I had nothing put complains from my customers. I once had a DHL guy deliver something from tesco direct to my house he rang the bell and by the time I had got down the stairs from my bedroom to answer it he was already in his van ready to drive off. He was almost angry I had made him get out his van! he picked up my parcel and then quickly ran up to my door with it nearly going **** over tit and dropping it....Royal Mail Parcel force I have never had any problems with but yes they are more expensive but i guess you get what you pay for!

They are gone, along with all his other parcel companies. Run by an absolute crook, who just ran up a huge bill and did a runner leaving DHL and customers who had pre paid vouchers out of pocket.

All this is discussed here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1190955

As for who to use, like MICHELLE0205 we're also using freightsearch.com. Good value and service seems good too. £6.89+vat 48hr and £7.89+vat 24hr.

Stick with the royal mail. may in some cases be more expensive but very easy to claim unlike most other couriers who have every get out clause under the sun in their T&C's.

I have used http://www.parcel2go.com/, they are brilliant and reliable
