Hi all,

Is anyone a member of a decent dslr phtography forum that they could recommend ?

Just got myself a Nikon D3100 & want to join a like minded community for a few tips etc.

Cheers

Flickr is a pretty good place to post your photos, if you are not already a member ;)

Although don't mention you have a Nikon...

I used to use the site a lot, had less time for photography recently though

Thanks mate. I'm after a Nikon (UK) forum or even a general photography forum that covers dslr camera's.

Found a few via Google, but they dont seem too active.

Thanks

If you want an opinion on that picture you have posted then there is a section of that forum where you can put stuff to be critiqued. But be warned, they are crazy harsh.

That photo you put up is quite out of focus, nice expression though

Have you tried dpreview?

Personally I would never say a shot should be out of focus on purpose - unless it's really out of focus. Certainly the eyes should be in focus. But i'm no expert :D

Our badges are fairly similar. Need to work on my red celeb badge.

Does it need to be UK? dpreview.com is pretty huge.

I came across photographycourse.net the other day, it's free and takes you from the basics to professional, seems like a good site, and things are well explained.
I know it's not what your looking for but it might be of use to you.

another vote for the dpreview forums. harsh critique if you can take it.

AVForums has a digital photography section.
