Best Place To Sell A Van?

£0.00 @
My OH wants to sell his big van to buy a smaller one, does anyone know the best place online to sell it? We've tried ebay but it's full of tyre kickers. Thanks in advance for any help.

Auto trader...I've always found commercial vehicles are easier to sell than cars...also if it's half decent for the price, then you will find that people who work for them selves don't have to much time to pick and choose if they need a replacement van in a hurry and their livelyhood depends on it.

If you price it realistically it will sell....Do you have to add VAT to the price?

It's both on-line and a mag....you can have on-line only or on-line and mag....I don't think you can have just the mag anymore though.

There are advantages to having it in both though as people buy the mag the morning of publication in your area and hit the road looking at vans all day untill they find one....not everyone has mobile web access, so the mag still has it's uses.

It's a 2006 Citroen Relay Enterprise, he's looking to buy a smaller Mercedes.

Yes! Online & in print.

Also try Exchange & Mart (website, or magazine), PistonHeads.com & any suggestions in this thread:

Also try specialist commercial van sales companies (local or national with free delivery/collection) to see if they can part-exchange your existing van for a different one.

http://www.vanman.co.uk
http://www.vansunited.co.uk

and so on.

.BFN,

fp.

[EDIT]: You could also try ringing your local Mercedes dealer & ask if they have a commercial van sales site [/EDIT]
