Best place to buy a cheap PC?

I'm looking to buy a cheap PC for a relative, what's the best place to look? Any good sites in particular?

Don't want anything too powerful, just good enough to run broadband internet. Not interested in dual/quad core blah blah blah.

Just need a complete system: tower, keyboard, mouse and monitor for about £250. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Freecycle if all its for is broadband, often get them on there, there where two on our local freecycle today alone.

Dell used to do lots of deals, were you could base units, don't see em that often any more. If you want to save money, im sure you could easily get a crt monitor of freecycle. Keyboard and mouse come cheap.
Also if you feel upto it, could build a custom one, using cheap parts on ebay.

You can get a Vostro 1000 laptop for about £250 or a Vostro 1510 for £280. I'd get the 1510.

I rather buy the PC or the relative will moan, lol. Are novatech any good?

Ahh my selling point for my gran to get a laptop was that she could watch Eastenders while she "surfed" :) Erm I've not had any personal experience with Novatech but I had a friend at uni (shocking eh?) and he had a Novatech laptop that still lives after 5 years of punishment. :)

Edit: Looks like the "From" Prices are excluding an OS :|
