Think i'll stick with CeX as I can check the prices easy online :)

Game are generally worst but it depends on the individual games. Cex's prices are all up online. They often pay good prices, I've even bought brand new discounted games purely to sell them to Cex as they were paying more than other shops were selling them for!

To be honest though, trading in games is usually a bad idea financially. If you don't want to keep your games you're probably better off renting them rather than buying then selling.

Good luck!

Game gave me more than Gamestation for a game the other week, swings in roundabouts as they say.

Try all for the best price if you can, thats what I do.

I took in a selection of old PS2 games, and a few 360 games that I haven't used in ages, to Gamestation this morning. They offered £33 trade in value or £18 cash for them... I wasn't overly impressed with this, so took the whole lot upto Cex, and for the same set of games, they offered £46.40... and the one game I wanted to get (a gamecube game for using on the wii) had been £7.99 at Gamestation, and just £4 at Cex... so proved to be worth the long uphill walk to Sheffield Cex!

They didn't actually mention a cash price at Cex (and I didn't ask, as I wanted exchange anyway), so not sure if they don't offer cash anymore (after the reports on other threads).

It was also pleasing how empty the store was, usually it's packed out and with a huge queue, this time I just walked straight to the counter! Although picking the games I wanted took about an hour of umming and ahhing :)
