Thought it would be nice to see what are the best quidco deals where you actually make a profit. Not interested in percentage cashback.

Here is four to get the ball rolling

NATWEST Insurance - Contents insurance cost me £68 - cashback - £100

American Express Credit Card - Applied and spent £1.99 on the card - cashback - £33.75

Goldfish Credit Card - Applied and spent £3.79 on the card - cashback - £41

Opened an Alliance & leicester savings account - no deposit made - cashback - £20

Any other top money for nothing deals?

I'd rather not have two credit cards and a bank account I don't need just for the sake of a few quid. But each to their own.

Doh! You cancel the cards after using them. Quite simple really - for most people anyway it seems!

If you havent got anything useful to add to the thread, then waste your life elsewhere pal.

More junk mail, your name on more credit reports...nah. No thanks!

I never get any junk mail as registered with the mailing preference service. Must have had over 100 credit cards in the last 10 years and just seems a myth that it affects your credit score. Never been turned down once despite being unemployed for over a year now. It only takes 2-3 minutes to apply online for the cards so its easy money IMHO.

Anyway, this thread is about quidco deals, not your preference towards credit!

Oh well if you're unemployed I guess you need the money, so fair do's. :)

i took barclays contents insurance £123 for year, £50 cashback and £125 quidco.

Not essential but every bit helps

I don't claim anything BTW before anyone pipes up, I just prefer not to pay tax to this rotten government.

did you have to deposit anything into the Alliance & Leicester savings account to get the cashback?

I would guess the fact the OP said "no deposit made" would answer your question. :?

You're supposed to deposit £1 though.

Egg card is currently £20,I got it when it was £15.50 and approved,I applied for 1 for my partner, his application got rejected but he got £35 at time Quidco cos it was on offer at higher rate at the time so they still paid even tho rejected.I do use the card occasionly but always pay balance off so not to get interest.
I've not applied for anything else like that for sake of it,went through Quidco for BT and Sky,Corals and National Lotto cos needed to sign up anyway.

Just because you didn't Tarby - doesn't mean you aren't and could prevent others from getting the Cash

To be fair, that doesn't say it's a requirement, it just says you could only put £1 in if you wanted to.

I would read that as you're supposed to, if an account said put as little as £500 a month in then you'd read that as a requirement wouldn't you?

I see it as a minimum requirement.

Either way it's worth doing to make sure you get the £20, you get the £1 back plus interest so why the argument???

£10 for a next directory:
http://www.quidco.com/next/
The directory eventually costs you £3.75,but i believe if you order something,it isn't charged for. There is free delivery codes on here and only guessing here, but could possibly order something, send it back and thus not pay anything.
So minimum profit £6.25.maximum £10.
Oh,and you will get cashback for purchase, which may remain even when you return.

Magazine group:
http://www.quidco.com/entertainment/magazine-subs/magazine-group/
Loads of trial subscriptions @ 3 issues for £1 and then £4.80 cashback for each one.

Betfair:
http://www.quidco.com/entertainment/gambling/betfair-com/
Deposit and wager £10.....cashback = £25.
Hell you might even win with your wager, but the smart way would be to lay your bet off,,possibly by opening another account at another bookies of which there are many giving cashback also.
Coral are another with the same offer as betfair:
http://www.quidco.com/entertainment/gambling/coral/

Got to be careful with this one because they send out 4 a year, at a cost of £3.75 - not just a one off charge/catalogue.

Thanks for that julia,i forgot about that.
I believe you can call them after you have received the directory and opt out of receiving any further catalogues.

Yes, that's correct ^^^^

There is a freephone number provided and it's automated. I cancelled mine a few months ago.

NATWEST Insurance - Contents insurance cost me £68 - cashback - £100

Has this changed? I'm looking for contents insurance only and the NatWest Quidco page says "£85 for Home Insurance (buildings and contents)" which suggest you have to take both contents AND building insurance?

Did you manage to just take contents and still get the money? If so, did it still say the same thing then or has it changed?
