ISA Investor accounts, can get between 3%-12% depending on the situation. I've invested £1500 in 4 months and gained nearly £200.

isa investment accounts are only best recommended though if you dont mind the chance of getting less back than you put in.

premium bonds can be a good idea and best purchased in a bulk lot i know quite a few people who win regular amounts on them, and you arent going to lose any of your money (hopefully:?)

quite low rates on normal intant access savings at the moment you probably best of putting it in premium bonds like carley said or if your feeling lucky try the investment accounts like spriggan said otherwise dont expect to much

premium bonds are the BIGGEST waste of time ever, check out MSE calculator to see how much you could win.. about a 95% chance youll get less than a savings account.

if you dont need the money, scout about for a good 1 year fixed rate savings account i suggest atleast 4%..

or get the egg 3.25 or as above mentioned citibank account.

checkout out MSE savings guide though :)
