Im looking into building my own PC. What sites do people use to buy computer parts? Is there a comparison website specifically for computer parts?

Also, what sites do people use for general computer buliding info, ie, compatibility, performance, etc?

Any help would be appreciated.

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/

http://skinflint.co.uk/ (Price comparison)

Ebuyer, csan, aria, overclockers, Novatech for parts.

http://www.crucial.com/uk/?click=true for ram compatibility.

Built my first computer in January

I used Skinflint for price comparison but in the end I used Scan for 90% of my purchases.
To get their best prices you really need to check their deal page on a daily basis and register for AVforum free delivery.

I use my spare bedroom floor, I think it's a good site to build it.

I only use Ebuyer, OCUK are useless if you get a problem they're not interested. Scan use grey imports, at least with hard drives so no warranty with the manufacturer.

Free postage from ebuyer aswell, and my stuff normally comes the next day even when I chose free delivery. Also fantastic customer support, been using them for over 5 years.

Ebuyer also use grey imports. Had a drive fail from them last month and the manufacturer would not touch it.

They still honoured the same warranty that I would have received from the manufacturer.

Just had to send it back to them instead.
