Best Sony Ericsson?

Hiya
Quisk question to all the mobile genuises out there!

Daughter wants the 'new' Sony Ericson for her christmas, she actually just wants a new one I dont think it will matter terribly much how long it's been released! As long as it can take piccys and has bluetooth I'm sure she'll be happy - network doesn't matter either.

Anyway, can anyone please recommend one for her as I hope to get it today. And when I looked on the website they all were a bundle of numbers and ended with 'i' and my brains too fuzzy to cope with that lol!

So a recommendation from you peeps would suit me better!

TIA
Crunchy xxxx

I've had a lot of sony ericsson phones, and believe it or not, my favourite by far is the w810i.

I would suggest the W850i, or the W580i.

The W580i is one of the newer Sony Ericsson Walkman phones, a stylish little number at around £100. If you need any help finding a good price then let us know. Available in Grey/Blue, Pink, White and Black.

"Marketed by Sony Ericsson as a ‘lifestyle’ phone, the W580i is a new addition to the Walkman series with a sporty twist – the slim line slider comes pre-loaded with Sony Ericsson’s Sports Applications software, allowing the user to measure their steps, calories, running speed, distance and time. With lifestyle and entertainment in mind, the phone also doubles as a portable photo album and pocket gaming device.

Not surprisingly for a phone from the Walkman family, the W580i can store plenty of audio files – up to 470 full-length tracks. Ultra-cool optional extras include the ability to play music tracks stored on your phone directly through your hi-fi using the wireless Bluetooth MBR-100 Music Receiver, or snap-on speakers allowing you to pump out your favourite tracks at social gatherings. Features of note include, a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS, 3D gaming, picture blogging, video capture, high speed web browsing, and a large 2 inch screen. all packed into a slider phone measuing just 14mm thick."

i would have the w810i, k800i or k810i.

i have a k810i atm and its brilliant.

dont even bother with the k850 as its too buggy for now. also some of the shots ive seen look rubbish. hopefully the next firmware should sort most of the issues

my daughter had the w850i for her birthday, she has wanted this phone ever since it came out, it depends whether your daughter wants the better camera phone or the better walkman phone, mine wanted the better walkman, and the w850i for the money you cant beat

P1i fab

somehow i dont think they would want to pay £200+ for a p1i which probably has too many features

People might laugh at this, but my money is solidly on the K550i

Small (all the way round), light, all the function you need and sexy ... oh and not too bad on the old wallet either!

its a good phone, but you can have the walkman on it if you upgrade the firmware to a w610i

I'd go for the K800 its 3.2mp, and has full size keys(unlike the k810). It has the walkman software(i think), bluetooth, and a decent camera(better than most phone cameras).

it does have a walkman v1 player, but just in a white color scheme.

i find the k800i/810i take better shots than most 5mp camera phones
