  Driving Force GT. I bought one for my PC. Definately the best wheel I've used. It's compatible with both PC and PS3 so saves buying two if you have a PC as well.

  +1 for DFGT. I had a PS2 Jordan Hornets wheel many years ago which was rubbish and I was worried I would not enjoy the DFGT but after buying it I am thrilled. It feels like real driving when using it after taking a bit of time to mod it if that is your thing, but without modding it is a close approximation of driving. I got my one at Argos for £90 about a year ago and the price seems to have remained at that mark since but if you can wait Logitech seem to do sales of damaged box ones for a pittance. Just search the old deals on here.

  You mention about modding the wheel. what mods did you do? just software tweaks? The only hardware tweak I've seen is to possibly get replacement paddles for the changing the gears.

  Been a while since I've used mine as I've been playing forza mostly of late which sadly means buying another wheel (which I refuse to do). I've modded the pedals to feel more realistic as the springs just dont feel right by default, a centre marker for rally games a home made wheel stand to suit my sofa. More tweaks than mods I would say but certainly makes the game more realistic.
