As title suggest. I havent worn contact lenses in a year due to me just preferring glasses but im rwady to get back into the game lol, does ahybody know of a cheapo place where I can good disposable contact lenses. Ive heard of Dayssoft contact lenses and was wondering if anybody could tell me about them as my mum doesnt like the idea and think they'll mess up my eyes because they're so cheap so she reckons, itll be poor quality, does anyone have experience with them?
Or know of any other reputable cheap companies. I looked into tesco's but for ninty quid for your first order is a bit steep. thanks in advance

Tesco or Asda opticians have great prices.

I once bought on-line and they were rubbish quality :(

I'm using Daysoft lenses now, so far my eyes haven't started to bleed :)

My wife and I have used the daysoft lenses for years and they are great - no problems at all. In the past we have used Boots own and Focus Dailies but the quality of the Daysoft are in our opinion just as good. I doubt you will find cheaper and the service they provide is second to none.

Not fast service but reasonably priced... clicky

Thanks guys so Daysoft are of reputable quality then? I suffer from dry eyes so I would have to get their moist lenses, anyone have experience with them? My eyes get all itchy with the normal ones and some of them arnt compatible with eye drops and when that happens, its a deep deep burn!

I use daysoft too and have had no problems with them at all. The customer service is good, when I first ordered I ordered the Daysoft 72 and I didn't feel that comfortable with them so they offered to send me one free pack of the Daysoft 58 to trial and that was a lot better. Then I sent back the ones I first ordered and they replaced them all with the Daysoft 58.

You could trial the lenses first and see what you think I think they state that if you don't like them and don't use over a certain number of lenses in a period of time they will refund you the money if you decide to return them!

Please check that you are completely happy with the comfort and vision of your contact lenses within 7 days of receipt of your order. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us straight way and we will arrange for you to return the remaining lenses for a refund. We will give a full refund if no more than 7 pairs of lenses have been used from the two boxes supplied.

Surely it matters with which one you choose from or are all their contacts the same just the strenght is the difference? I was going to choose acuvue moist daily from the first drop down menu

I think that daysoft only do two types of lenses the Daysoft 58 or Daysoft 72 and you select which one you usually use and it will allocate which type of lenses they have that are similar to the ones you are currently using. Also I think one has a higher water content and can be worn for longer but it might be better contacting them to make sure.

Thanks for everyones input, I appreciate it but I contacted daysoft and they said due to my small astigmatism it is very doubtful that i will be able to wear their lenses and they are not toric but sphere shaped. Apparantly i wont have good vision with their lenses but I will recomend them to other people seeing as they could have out right lied to me and said it was no problem just to make a quicksale but good on them, they didnt. Gotta look into other options but man, they were cheap! Nowhere else even comes close to what they were charging for daily disposables
