why? well going by my limited experience i have had with the customer service department even if you were to save £25 then i would still go elsewhere.

True, but the split payment option is a must - need a laptop but can't afford the full outlay at the mo :x

yes i know the split payment option is handy for that but if you get problems then this is the last company you want to be dealing with, you could be without a laptop or the cash for a very long time.

Yeah, have already experienced their "service", bought a coat, didn't fit, got a refund.

Second payment just came out.

bought shoes which were sold as leather uppers and lo and behold they were man made **** and to top that they had scuff marks on both the soles where someone had tried them first, i notified them within 30 minutes of receiving them and despite 2 or 3 attempts to contact them via the online system i never received any response, finally got hold of someone on the phone to be told i would get an rma number in my inbox and that the courier was booked for the next day to pick them item up and you can guess non of promises happened no courier and no rma number.
So me i have learned from my mistake in dealing with them and i hope nobody here makes the same mistake.

These are the shoes http://www.cdiscount.co.uk/Menswear/Footwear/Casual/f-54-174908.html
and they are still trying to sell them as leather uppers when they are not.

That IS pretty poor.

Bigger than Amazon in France so they say, maybe the French are easier to rip off or something? :-D

We had a processing error with a small number of cancelled orders/returns and our 3* Payment option. This error has since been fixed and we apologise if this has caused you any inconvenience.

Have a good day

I took the plunge with cdiscount with an LCD TV/DVD combo ! on the three month option. Must say excellent product, super quick delivery and all payments taken correctly. I suppose its fair to say only when you have a problem to truly find out what their service is like.
