+1 to the OP!

As an Arsenal fan i think Arshavin is awesome and the start of great signings to come!!
#3
Worst - £10 million on Coloccini

Best - Cisse on a seasons loan, without his 10 league goals Sunderland would have gone down
#4
how the heck do you get arshavin best signing how many games he played?
#5
Dave Kitson or Deco are probably the worst signings IMO.
#6
Also Ilunga at West Ham has been excellent this season, one of the best LB's in the league easily. Signed on loan but we later we made it permanent for under £2 million.

he played for half the season and in those games of about 12-13 games he scored about 8 ....assisted about the same as well! he's just showing what he is capable of.....his stats are probably as good if not better than most players wh actually played a whole season!!

I couldn't think of anyone else... I had him second for about 10 mins it's taken me about half an hour to do these! Then i thought Arshavin was better then Schwarzer so I put him above him.

Best: Shava - Arsenal, Hangeland - Fulham

Worst: Berbatov - Man Utd, David Bentley - Tottenham

What Arshavin has done in a short space of time is very impressive, no one has really stood out to me that much this season.

u cant compare him to berbatov really....diff types of players!

and if u put berbatovs stats....up against Bentdner....bentdner actually comes out on top lol!

I wouldn't say that's impressive, i'd say it is what is expected of a player that cost in excess of £20 million

Wouldnt go that far. Look at most of the players spurs have bought. Name one decent player out of half of their team .

* Jermain Defoe Portsmouth Tottenham €16.5million
Luca Modric Dinamo Zagreb Tottenham €21.2million
* Robbie Keane Liverpool Tottenham €13.3million
Roman Pavlyuchenko Spartak Moscow Tottenham €17million
* Wilson Palacios Wigan Athletic Tottenham €14.9million

All Bought in the season for roughly the same price as Arshavin.

Best Signing Geovanni at Hull
Worst Elmander at Bolton

£8Million for a striker that only managed 5 goals and contributed nothing for the last 20 games of the season, an absolute disgrace.

ilunga has been great this season
don't forget behrami mate 5 mill was a steal and played a vital part in the majority of the points we picked up and was sorely missed after the injury

worse buy - most of the tottenham team a ridiculous amount of money spent to beat a injury hit west ham team which was lead upfront by carlton cole on goal difference congrats

Best Signing Geovanni at Hull.

Do you mean best signing for the first 10 games? :?

In the last 6 or 7 months he has been terrible.

He is a good player, but not enough games to say he is the signing of the season, impressive impact though

best Pienaar to Everton £2.2m and has gotten better every game.

2nd either Jo to Everton, on loan scored 5 goals and helped us keep winning in the league to take the pressure of the cup run.
Hiddink to Chelsea I have no doubt that Chelsea were in serious danger of losing their top 4 spot to Villa or Eberton untill hhe came along.

Worst Jo to Man City. Aperfect example of throwing money about "Galactico" style without knowing if your manager wants the player, or if the player will fit into you manager's system. On the bright side another exampl of why David Moyes was manager of the season for a record 3rd tme.

2nd worst....Bentley. thinks way too much of himsrlf but the real reason is Ramos just seemed to want a team full of lighweight wingers / tricky players with no idea whatsoever where he was going to play them all.
#31
I'm not sure why Jo was a bad signing, most foreign players take time to adapt. Man City only loaned him out so he gets the games he needs to adapt elsewhere.

He'll be a good player for them next season.

He was only 21 when they signed him.

because he couldn't get agame for them and was neither scoring, nor contributing to the team. It's not saying he's a bad player, as I, and many papers, also have him as one of the best signings regards his loan to Everton. Make no mistake about it, if Everton weren't as poor as a church mouse City would have sold him to us by now.

He wasn't playing as he needed time to adapt, he still does.

I don't think he done particularly well at Everton, he only scored against Bolton, Stoke and Wigan of which all three were undeniably poor. He didn't seem much of a team player to me either.

Still I think he's going to be a big player for city next season after he has had a good pre season.

Well he did, because he scored goals. Oh he missed a few too, but he scored more goals for us than he did for City, and in fewer games with players he was just getting used to. I think you'll find he helped tp creat a few goals as well though.

Or are you trying to suggest that all the games he didn't score in or get assists in for City were against champions league quality teams at the top of their game?
