bg1: I have an issue with the OH....

she wants to go out tonight, we have been going out for over a year and now moved in recently.

I told her i wont let her, they are going to some bars then a club after. I Said no because she will get a bit drunk then might be dancing with other guys. Since were together I don't see why she would want to go out anyway.

As for now I took her purse and cards so she has no money to go out.

am i being rationale?

would also link to point out at this point she is not speaking too me and left the house, she will be back soon though as she makes my dinner at 6pm.

money grabbing, purse snatching, credit card hiding, dancing queen

I don't like dancing, id rather just stay in today and before bed we get down to business. I dont want her talking to other guys while im not there. Who knows what can happen.

Just leave her now, you are clearly not mature enough for an adult relationship.

how am I not ready? she was the one who wanted to move in. I said okay as its easier for her to cook my food and clean then coming over every other day. I brought her a dress for her bday so its all give and take.

I do trust her, but I dont want my women drinking and dancing when guys are like 20cm away from her. The women should be beside her man, not faluting it out on a sat night.

Caring for someone makes me a nob? I might be a bit over protective but im not a bad guy

you say "You let her go shopping" does she need your permission to do day to day things? I have been with my partner 7 years she goes out clubbing, i go out with my mates clubbing, there is a little thing called Trust, something you obviously lack, not a good basis for a 1 year relationship.

wow thats not for me, a women should not be doing things like that, call me old fashioned but thats just my view. Its all subjective in the end though

maybe I should go out with her then? I kind of feel like odd one out as its a girls night, but ill just go along to make sure she dont do anything she shouldnt?

A bit? You sound like a that kids mum at school who was the dinner lady lol - epic stalk.

If she is with friends, she isn't alone, no need to worry. If she goes out and cheats on you, whether drunk or not, it is inevitable, locking her away will just make her resent you more and cheat any way.

Better to come across as a care free, happy and loving bloke than a nob who she would be better off without. I hope that makes sense, think of it as reverse psychology.

Class thread, cant think of anything clever to say sadly :(

Perhaps put on a disguise and see if you can pick her up and take her to a hotel room.

i'm old fashioned, I like to know were my women is at all times, is that a bad thing? I care for her, 20 years ago women would not of gone out.

I dont mind a compromise to make both of us happy, I think letting her off to the pub and ill pick her up at 11 is best for everyone and there is a middle ground. after all that is what being in a relationship is all about.

Yeah quite right brah....I mean I'm amazed you let her out at all

And WTF? she goes out shopping? You let her have her own bank cards? You need to reign in that shiz brah! Get her back in that kitchen! Amirite?

thats not caring, you sound like an overpowering, insecure, sexist nob. women are not pocessions, you wanna think yrself lucky you have one by the sounds of it, the finances may be 65/35 but as humans you are both equal, carry on as you are and you'll do an excellent job of pushing her away, the girl needs to get some pride putting up with yr shiz!

Is this the same guy who claimed to be on "lost" the show last year?
