Doesn't matter where you go. Employers usually conduct interviews, so you're stuffed.

Around here, if you want to work, you will find it.

The problem is some people aren't prepared to get up early, work in shops, start from the bottom etc. They want high paid, high status straight away.

I know some jobs and employers can be pretty dire but tocuh wood, I've never been unemployed but at the same time, I've had to do some pretty rubbish jobs over the years as opposed to doing nothing.

Dunno about anywhere else but north of the border alot of the companies in the engineering industry seem to be doing quite well, since alot of them feed off each other.
Jobs are findable if you try, but for graduates they need to get into their "academic" minds that they do not deserve high paid jobs straight away, and also for people going to uni, shouldnt just be going because its something to do, seems like a business managment degree is handed out rather easily just now.

Exactly this. If you want a job, you'll find one within weeks.
