Great minds think alike, fools never differ.

Mine was terrible quality. All the material wore and came off the seat. Dumped it ages ago
#8
he thinks there is something wrong with the compression on it, it just randomly pops down a noch every 15seconds or so, does this happen to anyone else he asks?

I'd rather be considered foolish than what The Saint is generally considered as:roll:
#11
Try replacing the gas cylinder - probably cheaper to buy a new chair though.

GB1 is okay to be more than a few pounds overweight....albeit that your computer chair is suffering the full brunt of the effects....but just to let you know that you shouldnt feel isolated bcoz of it.

Edit : we are all there for you......to help you up should you fall over... :w00t:
:p

eaten alot of pies recently? :p
#15
your gas cylinder has gone - it will be cheaper to go buy another chair - unless you can go to a second hand shop and find another chair with a base like your one and swap them over
#16
£55k up on football bets and the Gerbil can't afford a new chair.

Bit weird?

Yeah - or get your dad to do it

Basically as mentioned, the gas cylinder is faulty
if you could buy just the cylinder, it would cost as much as a new chair.

Most of these chairs are the same basic model, made in china, and most of them seem to have the cylinder fault (mine has)

You can fix it in place if you get a jubilee hose clip and put it around the metal shaft (under the plastic cover) might need two! and do them up really tight.

this stops it going down, its a bodge, but saves the chair, but you can no longer adjust the height.

Nobody use the word obese please, it is offensive!!

Without sticking up for the deluded one, it's easy to work out whats said in this thread without seeing the gerbils input. Still think you get to see OP if on ignore also. (I know thats not what your getting at reading back)

I have explained to idiots previously that you can sadly still see the threads created by these goons just not the posts within, also, I would look up the definition of the word irony before you attempt to use it again

He reads every single post I make. Seriously. Every time I comment after he's made a comment etc, he presses View Post.

As I say, you really really need to look up the definition of irony although your misue of the word is rather amusing :)

(Irony (from the Ancient Greek εἰρωνεία eirōneía, meaning hypocrisy, deception, or feigned ignorance)

Maybe you should look up the word hypocrite before condemning my use of the English language sonny.

*chortle* now there IS irony at its finest, also, your list is a little out of date, for your future stalking reference please use this list, thanks flower :)

I'm surprised he gets to read any comments in misc, got all the main playas on that list.

Like I said - he reads them anyway lol. I mean its sometimes very clichey in here, and people dislike others. But I don't think there is anyone as universally disliked as insomniac. Takes some doing to be that socially inept.
