My 8 year old daughter wanted Brain Training for Christmas and Santa brought it. :santa:

I would say it has only been used a handful of times at the most. It doesn't seem very entertaining or educational for an 8 year old girl.

Thanks for the advice Christmasshopper I'll try and talk her (bribe) into having different game !

I prefer Brain Training, but I dare say Big Brain Academy might be more appealing to an 8 year old.

My 6 year old brother did enjoy Brain Training, but he traded it in once I introduced him to the delights of Mario Kart

Big Brain Academy is definatly more suitable for a child.

Big brain academy is more fun and accessable - it feels like a game.

Dr whatshisnames will probably do more for your memory etc though! but is more like tests than a game.

Haha , i just saw this in my recent activity and thought the OH had been posting 'witty' remarks on posts again until i clicked on the thread!
That sweet innocent 8 year old is now a stroppy 11 year old who would rather play xbox whilst listening to Ndubz than play anything like brain training ! How things change ey!!
