It appears they trade on Amazon
Feedback 85% positive over the past 12 months. (85 total ratings).
In my opinion it would be best to shop via amazon if they have the camera listed there as you will atleast have amazons buyer protection

That said i wouldn't personally shop with these guys
And no, I have no connection with Big Norman or anyone who works for it.
I had no receipt, no three year warranty and the pocket guide was missing. I was concerned as they only sent the camera in the manufacturers packaging which was damaged as was the lens when that arrived three days later. I was begining to think I had made a big mistake. On contacting them and voicing my views they were not sympathetic or caring at all. I did speak to Canon who say they were going to push it to a higher level, who's outcome I'm still waiting for.
Taking into account I spent nearly £1,000 the service was crap. I did speak to trading standards to voice my concerns and they told me that Gibraltar come under the same laws as UK mainland.
I also tried to leave feedback on Trustpilot where you have to quote your order ID mine was rejected, now whether that was because I sent Big Norman a negative email and they're blocking me. I have contacted Trustpilot and they are looking into it.
To date the missing items mentioned above have never been sent to me from Big Norman.
Sorry this is a long post but I feel anyone considering buying from these people should know.

I would suggest that if you have paid by credit card to contact them and let them know that you want to cancel your order and the reason. I would not buy from these people again as I spent £1,000 with them for a Canon 60D 18-200 lens kit. I complained to them about the damaged wrong canon packaging and missing pocket guide and paperwork, the lens came separately and they tried to give me crap about it being stuck at customs when a card in with the camera body stated out of stock. They weren't interested. I reported them to Canon and Trading Standards.
protection??
There's a forum called urban 75 who had people just like yourself **** off with Big Norman who were hassled to remove all bad reviews which they did and also I found it impossible to leave a negative review on Trust Pilot who I contacted but got no positive response, but it seems now they not listed there. AVOID like the plague.
purchased from big norman
Shortly after placing my order I had a felling I’d probably regret it :(
When it finally arrived it was a European model with a European charger (with a cheap UK adapter), the manual had been changed for a laser printed English copy, the warranty card was missing, the reference manual CD was missing and all external barcodes and labels had been removed from the box.
I was leaving for my hols in few days so was busy running around getting ready and had no time to do anything about it.
When I returned I tried to registering my new camera on Nikon’s site but it wouldn’t accept the serial number, finally I gave them a call today.
When I gave them the serial number off the camera their system didn’t recognise it!
They asked me to take photos of the camera, serial number, packaging and its contents for investigation… very worrying :(
Fortunately I bought it on a credit card, so if it turns out to be a refurbished or dodgy camera I can claim off the credit card company.
As bpcampbell said, everything on their website is out of stock which would indicate that they’ve closed up shop and gone :(
The bad news: Nikon have verified that the sticker and serial number on the base of my camera are counterfeit :(
The good news: Big Norman appears to be alive and kicking and have answered all my e-mails promptly and courteously.
They showed concern about what has happened and have agreed that I can return the camera for a full refund.
Now you can’t say farer than that!
Get in touch with your credit card as they will refund the money back immediately as you have not received any goods
They will then seek to recover their losses from Big Norman.
I returned my suspicious camera, but Big Norman have still not returned my money so I'll be contacting my credit card ASAP :(
