Afternoon,

Staying here tomorrow evening, what is there to do in the local area, pubs, bars, resturants etc? Anywhere recommended to go? Where to avoid?

Am aware of the Frankie + Benny's etc on the Plaza, but what else is around the area?

Cheers guys!

its a great location to stay. Broadway plaza has a nice casino, cinema, bowling alley, virtual golf place etc. A few restuarants and pubs/bars. Its just a 2 min walk from broadstreet which is full of bars and clubs. and then 20min walk from main city centre!

depends where in edgbaston you want to go....a few mins walk from there and you are on the border of edgbaston.

if your on about the cricket ground. Then not really walking distance. a bus ride away...shouldnt take more than 15mins on the bus plus a 10 min walk from the bus stop to the ground.

Broad street is too chavvy now and I would stay well away. Brindley place is nice, some real nice bars and restaurants there. Also the Mailbox is not too far and that is good too. Everything within walking distance.

Oh and a few mins walk down the Hagely Road you will come across Spearmint Rhino ;-)
