I live in Birmingham and to be honest if you think London is boring not sure what you will make of Birmingham.

London is one of the greatest cities in the world (I was born there) and it has been said that "if a man tires of London he is tired of life".

I go on TripAdvisor a lot, helping people who are coming to London for a holiday from abroad with advice, and the list of things to do in London is just staggering.

What do you find boring about London?

Just because you can't afford to do anything there doesn't mean it's boring.

City Inn hotel in Birmingham is nice, I don't think they are too expensive and you can use clubcard points

London is boring if you live there.

Massive queues.
Everyone in a rush.
The tube.

If you go there for a few days then it's good but the OP lives there, of course he is bored.

Saying that Birmingham is boring too.

London is a horrible horrible place, I hate it.

Anyway Birminghams not great either, been into the city centre about 4 times in recent years, been fights in the streets two of the times, and someone was stabbed in one, lovely place....

Anyway I'm not a fan but the Sea Life Centre is ok (although not great due to been no where near the sea). Mainly go to a show or shopping.

I went the other weekend, stayed at the radisson blu, lovely hotel, great buffet breakfast, only went shopping and night out though. Have been Sealife before and if i'm honest it was dire, really filthy and looked neglected but that was a couple of years ago so may be better now
