Hi all,
I turn 27 anytime soon and i'm looking to celebrate.

Ideally i'd like to do something a little different than the usual meal or out to bars with friends. I went to greyhound racing a couple of years a go which was good but its gonna set everyone back again if I do that.

I was wondering if any of you's had any ideas? What have you done in the past? Whats a really good laugh etc?

I'd like ot stay in Leicester really as otherwise its a mini bus or someone will drive and i'd like everyone to drink if possible.

Paintballing is always a wicked laugh but can be a little pricey unless there are any deals on HUKD. You can still pick up some £19 hotel rooms from devere. Thats what we did for my 30th, nice hotel, used the jacuzzi/sauna etc during the day then went for a curry and got bladdered in the hotel bar until 3 in the morning afterwards lol. Then just rolled into bed and woke up with an almighty hangover.

Hope this helps.

Thanks mate, paintballing not really an option cause the female friends dont like it! Plus like you said its pricey.

Hotel sounds good and currys always go down well but trying to keep it local.

Thanks for the reply though, others feel free to leave some info!

laser quest or a bingo night, assult / traing course or day thing

the paint balling has some great deals about at the mo

or its dinner, maybe try a dinner and dancing type theme bar

i guess it really depends how much you all want to spend

or if you have the money, throw a party, fancy dress and some food, dj and some balloons

or how about a trip to a theme park, thorpe park opens in feb

Thanks for the replies.

I really dont know what to do!

Go Karting will not suit the whole group nor will the assualt course really.

I guess what i'm looking for is somewhere in leicester, to have nice surrounds perhaps and just get xxxxx

Nice bars?

I think the main thing is to do something different to what you usually do. If greyhounds was really good last time it won't seem as good this.

What we've done on a few occasions is pub crawls in local areas that non of us usually go to. They've always been really good nights out as they involve something we all like (drinking) but in different surroundings that are only a taxi ride from home. Just make sure you chose a nice area.

Plus it doesn't matter if a pub is rubbish as you'll be moving on soon.
